If you have kids who love everything Star Wars, this is the show for them. Our kids had the pleasure of participating in the trials and fighting Darth Vador himself.
Now we want to share our experiences with you so you know before you go.
When the park opens, the registration process for the various show times begin.
(note: Park opening also includes extra magic morning hours)
It is a good idea to be at the park before park opening to ensure you're at the front for rope drop. Once open, head down Hollywood Blvd. and turn left at Hollywood and Vine restaurant toward the Indiana Jones complex. Before the Indiana Jones entrance, you'll see an area to your left at the Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost with a roped line area. Enter the line and wait your turn.
When it is your turn, make sure all kids participating in the show are present. You can't register them if they are not present.
There are several shows throughout the day and they are filled on a first come first serve basis. Since this is the case, the cast members registering you will give you a Fast Pass to use at anytime during the day (toy story not included). These passes have an expiration date which means you can use it on another day if you want.
When reporting back for your time slot, you are signed in by a cast member and asked to stand on a series of blue dots on the ground just outside the 50's Prime Time Cafe. Make sure your child stands in the row closets to Echo Lake. This is the row that will go up on the upper stage and fight Vador. The other line, will be on the lower stage and fight a different character (currently the seventh sister).
Your child will be given a robe and a light sabor for the show. There are also Photopass photographers on site to take all the pictures. Make sure to pre-purchase memory maker and link the Photopass card you will receive from the photographers to your account in order to get a free download of all the pictures. This is a great because you can then stand back and enjoy your child in the show knowing that pictures are being taken.
